Ed is a native and life long resident of Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He attended public schools in Cabarrus County, as well as Wake Forest University. His father was Controller of Interstate Securities Corporation prior to his death in 1976 and was active in the accounting industry. Ed has continued his interest in accounting and problem solving by concentrating on litigation, bankruptcy, and family law related matters.
Ed has represented clients in various areas of litigation to include personal injury, construction litigation, medical malpractice, family law related matters, and contract issues and disputes. Primarily, his practice has related to litigation and bankruptcy.
Ed has participated in many organizations in Cabarrus County to include Assistant Scout Master, Chairman of Cabarrus County Group Homes, Inc., Cabarrus Courthouse Theater and Calvary Lutheran Church. He enjoys woodworking and building 18th Century reproduction furniture.

Married to the former Deborah Epps (1996); he has two children from a former marriage, Amy and Robert and a step-daughter of the present marriage, Sarah. Additionally, he has a granddaughter, age 5. |
